Wallace Mace born Ashton-Under-Lyne in 1892. Died in 1967.
Enlisted with the Midland Brigade, R.F.A. in 1908, subsequently serving with the R.F.A. through WW1.
Transferred to the Indian Ordanance Dept, serving through the Waziristan 1919-21.
The 1935 Jubilee Medal roll lists him as SUB-CONDUCTOR. WALLACE MACE, I.A.O.C.
Trio named 59369 GNR, R.F.A. - SGT. R.A., I.G.S. named 1017524 SGT., I.O.D.
L.S. and G.C. named SUB-CONDR, I.A.O.C.. WW2 Medals/Jubilee un-named.
Basic research lists his occupation in 1967 as LIEUT. COLONEL.
A very interesting group, worthy of research. WW1 and WW2 service throughout India.
All Medals mounted as worn on original ribbons, nicely toned and GVF.
